Favorite children's book party

With so many classic children's books being turned into big budget Hollywood features, it may be a good time for you and your friends to show off some of your favorites.
This fall Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Where the Wild Things Are are both being released into movie theaters, which will no doubt bring back some memories for some adults.
So why not complement those memories by hosting a favorite children's book party?
Invite some of your dearest friends over and tell them to bring one of their favorite books they used to read growing up.
As an extra bit of fun, tell everyone in the party invitations that there will be a read aloud session where everyone sits in a semi circle and listens to someone read their book (it should be noted that books should be short in length).
For party decorations, think back to the children's library you used to visit that had posters that said Reading is Fun! hanging on the walls. Recreate that for your guests for a laugh.
Oh and the snack? Milk and cookies of course!
