Party game: Feats of strength
July 24, 2009
Everyone loves competition, especially at a party where there can be a large crowd cheering people on. So why not organize something for your guests, complete with medals and prizes at the end?
To keep things friendly and to create an atmosphere of fun, call the event Feats of Strength. Consider hanging a personalized banner in the immediate area of the party as well.
As for the events, use your imagination. A push-up sudden-death round can be a fun way to start things off. This would involve a group of people doing push-ups and seeing who can last the longest.
However, in order for this to work, there has to be a group watching over the contestants to ensure everyone is playing fair.
Another fun and engaging game could be who can hold the most bags of mulch for the garden.
When the competition is over, present the winners with homemade trophies. With any luck, the party will be so successful it will spawn a Feats of Strength II and possibly some friendly rivalries among your guests.
