Who says goodie bags are just for kids?

For many children, one of the things that helps ease the pain of the party that is ending is the little goodie bag given to them as they leave filled with candy and possibly some small toys.

Who's to say adults can't have that same treatment at the end of a fun evening?

Though it may not be common, some people are starting to incorporate adult goodie bags into their parties, perhaps as a way to put a lasting mark on a successful evening.

People who would like to recreate the same childlike feeling of getting a goodie bag for their patrons need to simply fill their bags with the same treats, party favors and cheap plastic toys they remember from their youth.

In contrast, an adult goodie bag may include small bottles of alcohol, a matchbook and maybe even a scented candle for more female-themed parties.

As an extra element of fun, place a fake business card with the handwritten note of "Call me!" to some of your single friends as a joke.

For a more pricey parting gift, consider placing a $10 gift card in the goodie bag for your guests.
