Get out the school colors for college football
September 01, 2009
For some fans, NFL players just don't cut it. Instead, they prefer the student athletes playing college football, particularly since even some of the best players may go on to lead "regular" lives after school.
This is a great opportunity for some people to gather all their college football fans together for an all-day party that will encompass snacks and a dedicated group around the living room to watch the television.
First, if you happen to be a fan of a particular school, be sure to have the university's colors hung up around the area as party decorations. While it may not be the stadium you were used to at school, it will surely put the party in the right mood.
As for more general watching parties, it'll be fun to have some football-themed party favors, such as small footballs, helmets and personalized jerseys.
Don't forget to provide an ample array of snacks, especially if you have fanatics who will spend the entire Saturday watching the games. For bigger groups, feel free to ask people to bring over a snack plate or a bag of chips in the party invitations, just to ensure there's enough food to go around and last throughout the day.
