Host a viewing party for your little monsters and aliens

Round up your favorite creatures to celebrate the DVD release of Monsters vs Aliens with a viewing party.
Make sure you give each species fair recognition with your decorations. Divide your living room in half, designating one side for your mini monsters and the other for aliens. Use out-of-this-world décor for your extraterrestrial guests and make mini cardboard skyscrapers and buildings to make the others feel monstrous.
You might offer party favors that can be used for a game of dress-up. Give each child a pair of spring eyeball glasses or an antenna headband. Encourage everyone to wear their scariest or most space-age clothing.
During the viewing, serve futuristic snacks, like popcorn dyed with food coloring or cookies shaped like flying saucers. Offer gummy insects or eyeballs made from grapes to your mini monsters.
After the movie is over, divide the group into monster and alien teams. Host a game of trivia about the movie to see who is the number one nonhuman. Just make sure everyone is playing by earthly rules - no extraterrestrial powers allowed!
