Wow! I am so glad that I found this site. I was a co-chair of the 6th Grade Dance and we wanted our decorations to be unique, so that we'd create interest and attendance for the dance. The dance was a huge success! You should have heard the kids talking about the 'cool balloons'. We set the red lumi-loon balloons over the DJ station in the 'blinking mode' and then placed silver & red lumni-loon balloons on the lit up mode mixed with regular balloons in strategic areas. What a beautiful combination!

My only suggestion would be to order more -- once you see how neat they are you'll want to place them everywhere! Remember to inflate the balloon all the way and look at the illustrated directions for a reference. This will make the difference between a "big glow" vs. a "faint glow" when you activate the balloons. We also loved the fact that the balloons are self-sealing and have their own strings attached to the balloon. It was great to not have to worry about knotting, tying and stringing up the balloons by hand. It was convenient and a great time saver!

My next decorating challenge will be to create a lumni-loon balloon arch for a party at home! I can't wait to see how that looks.

These worked great and were very easy to use. Looked great in a night club. I got a lot of comments on how cool they were.

We used the balloons for our high school reunion. They were a big hit. We had a local florist inflate them for us..she said it took a few tries before she figured out how best to get them inflated.
I had read the reviews and there was a possibility of the balloons deflating fairly quickly. So we had them inflated right before the reunion began. The majority of the balloons stayed inflated. We bought 60 and I would say about 6-8 deflated before the night was over.
The balloons have 3 light settings. Fast, slow and on. I wish the slow blink would blink slower. It was too much when all of the balloons were blinking.

The balloons were effective, and the flashing lights were a great addition, but even with the plugs to hold the helium, they did not stay inflated the whole time.

Okay, out of everything we ordered, I was the most excited about these. However out of the 30 that I ordered maybe only 10 worked. The other problem was that the seal didn't work properly on most either. I had a professional florist inflate for me & we were all (us & the florist) disappointed. I don't think I'd buy these again.

This is a great concept. Unfortunately the balloons do not stay inflated. I used them for a glow in the dark party and wanted them as somewhat of a centerpiece for the cake and gift tables. I inflated them two times, but they fell both times. In the 5 minutes they were up. They were incredible!
