we purchased these for the Super Bowl and could not figure out how to make them glow. how does it work?

  You crack the glow stick that is connected to the glass and shake them. It's easier to put the glow part on the side of a table or counter and push down to crack them.

This was the hit of my party. Knock it right out the ball park. The glass was a hit. I was in a women's best drink contest. I enter a drink called Black Orchid. Circular ice ball with a purple orchid inside. Pour a martini drink over the ice ball. Which set inside the purple glow glass. Which gave the the ice ball great lumination. It definitely did the job because I won! Love it and the price was right!

I've used this for the last two years at my annual Halloween Party.
The first year I got the orange glow, last year I got the purple ones. Love the purple!!

My guests love them too.

I will continue to order these each year. I have some left over from last year. I just tried one out and they still work once you "pop" them.

They look really cool out by the pool at night with everyone walking around with them.

I regularly use the glow cups of all shapes and sizes at my parties and events and they are met with RAVE REVIEWS by all. It really takes things over the top. These cups come pre-assembled - all you have to do it give them a little snap to invoke the interior glow stick and Voila! You're ready to party. I will continue to buy these in the future.

I didn't know what to expect when I purchased these glasses for my sisters bachelorette party. They were great, everyone loved them, and they glowed for a pretty long time. My only concern was there were no directions telling you how to get the liquid going in the cups. I had to come back online and search reviews hoping someone had said what they did. All you had to do was snap the liquid part, Windy City Novelties.....just add some directions please! Would have saved me a headache!!!

I used it at a bridal shower where people did not know each other. We served everyone their first drink in a glass - it was a great icebreaker as it gave everyone something to talk about.

I had to go on-line to read reviews on how to make them work. I would like to see directions included. It wasn't easy to crack the glow tube, but once we did they were fine.

I would purchase them again.
