Bought this for my grandaughters Rock and Roll birthday party! Oh my goodness! It made the party and she uses it in her room now. Some of the disco balls I looked at come with lights which get very hot. I liked that this one was available w/o a light and it was powered. We used a flashlight and other lamp just fine w/o worry of too much heat! Perfect gift!

We used 50 as table centerpieces for a disco ball and they threw a surprising amount of light around the large room.
The assembly is a bit tedious with a tiny nut & bolt (and the packaging should be changed so styrofoam doesn't get into the shaft).... but otherwise it's a fabulous product! Everyone loved them---especially the lucky few who got to take them home as favors!!

Used this as part of a buffet centerpiece for a 70's party. The ball turns slow enough not to be annoying to the eye, but presents very well and was awesome with the lights reflecting off of it. Is made with real mirror. So cool, had to buy 2 more!

The first one we got didn't work, but after calling and speaking with a rep, they replaced it with a working mirror ball. It was perfect- smaller than most out there and the self-rotating stand was a god-send! It sparkled like crazy and was a perfect addition to our party. I like that we'll have it from now on- who doesn't like a disco ball?

I bought 15 of them for a disco themed fundraiser (the other 15 tables had an alternative, lit piece.) I covered the box the base came in with silver mylar and used it as a riser, then set a fiber optic spray next to it. The pieces were good sized, they just needed a little more impact for a round table seating 10. Please note those two dreaded 3-word phrases are involved: Some Assembly Required and Batteries Not Included.

LOVED these! Used them for a $150 per plate Disco Ball - Looked so substantial! Bought more for an outdoor 70's party later this spring. They are really good looking! And they worked well.

LOVED these - ordered 10 more for another party. VERY substantial. Uses big batteries, but worked like a charm. And, even if they were not turning they looked so good no one noticed! I was thrilled with these for a high-end gala event. And folks who bought the centerpieces could give them to their teens to hang from the ceiling in their rooms!

I bought 11 for centerpieces for "upscale" fundraiser gala with Disco theme. Impressive. Very nice. Anyone would want one for their daughter's room - can be hung or set on table. Runs on batteries. Very substantial. Not cheap, but makes a statement. Will sell them at the end of the event without a problem.

Used as part of two Mardi Gras Balls decorations. It was the exact effect I wanted. The only problem was trying to get the screw undone to attach the ball to the base. The tool needed to be included.

I needed (2) of these for a Holiday Party but I've learned to order extra (in this case 3) because I have repeatedly experienced problems with quality of products made in China and it's a good thing I did because as expected, one of them I could not attach the ball to its base; the holes would not line up. I ended up damaging the ball trying to put it together.
