We used these for my son's birthday parties and they were perfect for the kiddos to fight "Darth Vader" and each other. They have fun blinking and flashing and multiple light modes and survived some banging around while fighting.

Twelve of these for just [$] is amazing! They are collapsible, in a nesting cup type fashion. The handles are painted silver and the varying light effects are awesome! My 4 year-old star wars lover is super happy with these and getting 12 for such a low price allows him to play 'light sabers' with all his friends, even those who are not so gentle with thing (and therefore not allowed to touch his more expensive toys!). The fact that these come with batteries installed ready to go and that Windy City has free shipping pretty much sealed the deal!

I purchased this item to use at a Barbershop Chorus Competition to cheer our men when they sing. It will not only encourage them but will see that their women support them in their hobby. We love the LED item and know they will be able to see them when they are on stage.

We used these swords for my sons 5th Cosmic Bowling Party at our local bowling alley. First of all they have 7 different options for colors all at the push of a button, they are light and easy to maneuver and at an average price of $2 bucks each they were a great value for your money. We had boys aged 5 to 11 year olds using these with no problems. There was only 1 out of all that broke but was able to be taped up. Not bad out of 2 dozen! I would highly recommend this item!!!! Have already told lots of friends where to buy this for their kids parties and I will definitely use this company again. Oh we also purchased glow necklaces for party which were also a great deal! None were activated and a great price as well. Thank you so much for making my son's party so much fun!!!!

We had a Star Wars themed birthday party for my son's 6th birthday. Three "Jedi" came to the party for a training academy with light sabers. We gave one to each child and they worked beautifully. They light up and you can select a color. The sword retracts to the handle. They are a great value for the price. The kids loved them. My son is still playing with his--I am sure all the kids are. I ordered 35 and used most of them and they all worked. I haven't checked the ones we didn't used however.

I had a Star Wars themed party for my sons (ages 6 & 8). I gave these swords (aka lightsabers) as a give-away to the party guests and they were a big hit! My sons have played with the swords for a few weeks now and they have held up quite well. I highly recommend them!

I used these as lightsabers for all the kids at my sons 8th birthday party. It was a Jedi training party and they were a HUGE hit with the kids. All of them worked and they held up really well! I definitely recommend them!

I purchased 2 dozen of these for my boys' recent Star Wars themed Birthday party. They were a hit! They stood up to 24 2-8 year olds battling it out; "fighting", jumping with them in the jumper and towards the end of the night they discovered the lightsabers could be disassembled by unscrewing them from the base, and that the end could be used as a "colorful flashlight". I have nothing negative to say about these...they can stay a solid color or by pushing the button multiple times, you can scroll through various flashing options. They especially loved playing with them outside once it got dark. The parents loved them just as much!! The price is very reasonable [...] I couldn't beat it!! I'd definately recommend them!

I can't tell you how pleased I am with this item. I searched and searched for something affordable like this to give as party favors for my sons Star Wars themed party. Most of what I found was junk. What convinced me to buy these were the reviews. These are made so much better than expected. They are sturdy and pretty cool when lit up. The kids absolutely loved them (boys & girls)!!! I couldn't be happier with this product!

used to lead big groups on night tours. very easily seen from long distances. no negative comments about it. if handled carefully, will last very long time. specific brand was best i've bought yet. [...] i would prefer buying american made product, though. very pleased with windy city.

These light sabers are terrific. I ordered them for my son's 9th glow-in-the-dark slumber party. The kids loved them. There are 6 or 7 different glow settings (solid color, flashing multi-color, flashing single color, etc.) If you set them on the flashing multi-color setting and swing them around at just the right speed, the colors actually look separate, just like in the picture! The boys at the party had a light saber fight/battle. Most of them held up well to being wacked against each other. One cracked, but I had a few extra. At [$] for 12, these are a great price and a perfect party favor!
