    I was very hesitant to purchase this item because of the review, I had no choice it was exactly what I needed so I took a chance. I'm so glad I did. When I received it, I was shock; it turned out to be a beautiful item. I was really expecting to be plastic on the bottom, its actually polyester. The top was very smooth like velvet. For its price and the look, I loved it. The table runner made may tables look beautiful.

      Terrible product! Has plastic backing and FAKE velvet. You cannot wash, iron etc. Will not lay flat on the table due to the creases and stiffness of the product. [...] Extremely unsatisfied!
