i used this on stage for a Hollywood themed presentation. to make these actually stand on stage I had to construct a cardboard stand to tape to the back. it worked out great, but if you don't want to put the extra effort in, only buy these to hang.

We displayed this at a church breakfast the morning of the Oscars. It was quite attractive with posters I made of all the nominated movies, best actor/actress. Our theme colors were gold,red, & black.

I thought this product was free standing, however you have to put it on a wall. The picture was really misleading, however I should have read the description closer since it clearly mentions that you need sticky tape for the decoration to stand up. I was a little dissapointed at first. However I was able to take this and mount it to some foam and create a stand for them to stand up with. We used these for trade show booth decor and did not have a wall to stick them to, so this was our only option to really make the impact we wanted to at the show. Our booth took third place at the show and I wish we would have taken first, next year we will look at some better quality decorations since I tried to take the cheap route with these and it was more work than we expected.

We used this for my son's 16th birthday party. It was a Grammy Awards theme. We put it at the entrance of the building and it set a perfect tone for entry. The image was a little scary in places.

Q&A misleading as question asked "Is this free-standing?" Answer was yes by Windy City staff. The reason this product was ordered was so it could be free standing to use as a gag gift during awards ceremony. I was able to attach it to poster board using spray adhesive and created a stand which made it able to be used in this manner. Worked great after that - only negative comment was people said from far away the face looked like a skeleton as another reviewer mentioned.
If you are looking to hang this up or are okay with making it free-standing on your own then this product works great for that. It does not have a stand nor will it lean against anything!
