I got one for my son to try it out. I thought if it were good enough, I would buy a bunch to give out at his birthday party. When we first tried it, it was disappointing, because it did not shoot straight. But we removed the yellow plastic nozzle, which really doesn't serve any purpose, and then it shot straight. The water tank has to be unscrewed, filled with water, then screwed back on again. Unfortunately, when you're in the midst of a water gun battle, you don't have a lot of time to refill. The types of water guns with caps that unscrew can be refilled faster, and they have bigger tanks. But this one is much less expensive, and not a bad value for the money. I wouldn't recommend it for bigger kids who get in serious water fights, or for very young kids who don't have the patience to pump it up for the water pressure, but it's fine for kids in between. I didn't get them for my son's party because his friends all have the bigger guns, but it seems durable and he's been having fun with it.
