  It is a flat carboard that is creased in 3 places so that you can stand it up as a prop.

  It can stand by itself as it bends in two plasces but may need some with tape or sticky tack securing it to where you want it to stay.

I used this fireplace in a fourth grade public school classroom. I actually attached it to a bulletin board so it would be seen easier. It worked great to add a home and holiday spirit to our room.
