We tied red, white, and black balloons to light posts in the late August sun. Within 2 hours almost all had popped. They did look good while they lasted.

Balloon holds up well and can even be reused if you have the right valve. The 12"" size does use alot of helium. A smaller balloon might be better for inside party use.
